A 2-story, timber-framed restaurant, located on the shores of Lake San Marcos, this structure features a lower-level dining dock extending out over the water. To achieve a more spacious dining room with full-height lake-facing windows, the remodel and addition required a seismic strengthening of the foundation and superstructure, and repair of deteriorated underwater timber piles.
