This 8-story mixed-use building provides much-needed housing in downtown Sacramento. The upper 6 stories are wood-framed, with conventional plywood shearwalls and tie-down anchor systems. The lower two stories consist of reinforced concrete floor slabs, a combination of concrete and CMU shear and bearing walls, and a mat foundation system.
